PIVOTAL is Moving!

Dear Clients and Friends,

I am so excited to announce that Pivotal Massage & Bodywork is relocating to downtown Durham as of September 1 st. My greatest hope is to integrate my practice, my family and my community. 

Pivotal will be opening within Wildcat Fitness, a family owned gym & fitness center, and will operate solely as a massage practice.

What does this mean?

All scheduled massages and purchased massage packages will remain unchanged upon moving. However, Pivotal will no longer have it’s own studio or class programs. Instead, I have agreed to teach Barre, Core Strengthening and other varieties of kick ass classes for Wildcat Fitness and have recruited several other all-star instructors to join me in creating a packed class schedule for this state of the art facility. I will be promoting the new classes and instructors once we have nailed down the September schedule. 

Any Pivotal clients with unused classes in their account, purchased in 2018, will have two options to consider:

1. I can refund the $ amount the remaining classes are worth
OR
2. The $ amount the remaining classes are worth can be reassigned towards massage sessions

Additionally, all Auto Pay contracts will be suspended as of August 7, 2018. Many of you have unused classes on your account that can be used in August or we will still offer a Drop In and 5 Class Pack for the month. 

I certainly understand that this is a big change - and evolution is important, it should be embraced. I am hoping to make this transition a positive experience all around.

Pivotal’s new office in Durham is located at 7 Mill Road Plaza and the facility has a smoothie bar, hydro massage tables, locker rooms with showers, and all the amenities you would expect in a state of the art gym. Downtown Durham is only 15-20 minutes from Portsmouth and also is home to Lexi’s, the Juicery, The Soupery, Acai Bowl, shopping and lots more.

I am ready to bring all that I can offer to this new space.
